June 13, 2011 - Hey

Hey,

Guess dad forgot to send an email haha. Thats alright.

Well life has been super busy here. Hope girls camp is going/went well. This last week we had transfers. When we have transfers we have to prepare the letters to send out to the missionaries and we also get everything ready for the "heros" going home and the new missionaries coming. We make a video for the heros every transfer. We used the same video as last time and just changed the pictures and a couple of songs. President really liked it. He said it was the best he had seen so that was good to hear. The spirit was strong. It is cool to be a part of the new missionaries arriving and the old ones going home.  The first and last weeks of the transfers are always super busy.

Yesterday we had a "Conselho dos Sísteres" (Sisters conference). There are 13 sisters in the mission and 6 will get here this next transfer. President wanted to give them a training. It was funny as we in the staff prepared our trainings. We all used girly colors and stuff haha. We all wore pink or purple ties haha. The sisters didn't notice but we had fun. Elder Ramos and I gave a training about "fichas" (baptismal forms) and the area book. It went really well. I like giving training. The first time i was a little nervous, but its easy now. The mission really teaches a lot about life and how to be a good leader as well as follower of Christ.

Just got dads email. Thanks dad. Mom said you had a crazy trip this last week. You´ll have to tell me about it next time. Will you have internet at the reunion?

As far as people we are teaching, Tainã and Taune didn't get baptized last week because they got sick haha. But we are going to have them interviewed tonight and baptize Sunday. Other than that we are always looking and trying to get out of the office at 5 pm. This transfer we got a new finance secretary. His name is Elder Boren. He is from BOISE, IDAHO HAHA. But he is way cool and crazy. He is always happy and I really like that about him. We are going to have a good time together.

Next week I will write a note for you guys to read at the reunion. Tell everyone that I love them and that the church is true. My testimony is always growing here on the mission. It is the best. Hope everyone is awesome. I love the mission. I love you guys. Travel Safely. "Its better to get there late, than to get to the spirit world early" haha That was something my trainer said to me when I would get anxious to cross the street haha.
