June 4, 2012 - Hey

 Hey family,

Well it was a crazy week! Tuesday we got a van to Ribeirão Preto at 2:30 in the morning. We got there at 7:30 and left there at 4:00 and got back home at 9:00 at night. We went to conselho dos LZs. It was good. We learned about how to work better with the members. I was super tired this week. Flat out exhausted because we basically lost a full night of sleep. But Im starting to get caught up.

Thanks for the emails and the pictures. I got the shirts too Thanks!

It was definitely a better week. We did a division with the men from the ward and did a family home evening with some investigators. Things are slowly but surely getting better.

So yesterday there was a stake conference for all stakes in the state of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. It was transmitted by Satellite. The leaders were only told that an apostle was going to preside. As it unfolds, it turns out that Elder Gonzales of the Seventy, Sister Dalton, Elder Anderson, and President Monson were the speakers! What a surprise! Nobody knew the prophet was going to be speaking. Those who didnt go missed out. It was cool because they talked to the people of Brasil. Elder Anderson talked about the dedication of the temple of Manaus next week and raising children: teaching them to study, work, and love the lord. Sister Dalton talked about keeping the gospel standards in the For the Strength of Youth Pamphlhet. President Monson talked about the Saviro and the need to remember the forgotten and to love everyone. It was a special meeting! And better, we had 7 investigators! Those we talked to just loved it! José Mauro and Irene went and also a girl named Daniele that we are teaching.

Next week will be the dedication of the temple of Manaus. It will be a great experience! But there wont be sacrament meeting

This week should be good. Just working hard and loving it! I know that the gospel is true! We are guided by a living Prophet! Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! Be Happy! Have a great week!
