Hey family!
You guys need to watch the mormon message "look not behind thee" if you haven't yet. It is funny, but with a great message.
Well it was a pretty good week. We have one investigator right now, which is bad. BUT, he is golden. His name is Pedro. He has about 24 and he talked to me in the supermarket. He knows someone that is a member of the church and wanted to know more (goes to show that being an example is a BIG part of missionary work). We went and taught him saturday. He always went to the catholic church but it has been a while since he stopped going. He accepted everything we taught and accepted to be baptized on April 9th. It was awesome. We talked to him on the phone yesterday and he said that he talked to his girlfriend and she wants to know more too. He said she got mad with him for not inviting her to hear ahha. So that was the high point of the week. Please keep him in your prays that we may be able to teach him friday and that he can continue progressing.
But he is the only person that we are teaching. We were working with a family, but they weren't progressing. That family with the daughter in drugs - We would leave a message about what to do in order to stop using drugs and right after we left she would run away from home to go use drugs. She did this 3 times this week. I have heard of missionaries that helped people overcome an addiction to crack, but the person has to want it more than anything. She wasn't showing us that she wanted to stop and so we are going to have to move on. Its frustrating seeing the potential a person has and seeing them not progress. The gospel really is a plan for happiness and helps us change through the atonement of Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost (Mos 3:19).
My comp is tired. He is always saying that. That's part of the problem why we don't have more people to teach. He doesn't talk with people in the street and we waste some time in members houses. I'm trying my best to encourage. I could be a jerk or really annoying and say lets go lets go, but i don't want to be like that. I have already talked to him and he just says that he will do it. He is a good missionary and teaches well, but he is tired and sometimes he puts other things as more important. We get a long. We laugh a lot. We teach a good lesson and he gets excited for a bit, but loses it quickly
I get pretty frustrated sometimes. I just want a companion who is ready to work as much as i am and I feel like if i was the senior companion i could pull a little bit more. I feel like i know how to direct the work. But the Lord knows what is best for me. So i will continue waiting until he inspires my president to put me as senior. I need more patience haha.

Mom there's a lady in the branch here that wants a cupcake recipe. She speaks a good amount of english. Her name is Nilvânia and she is aweomse. Send her an email. She´ll tell you how i'm doing.
I'm excited for general conference. What the prophets and apostles tell us will be the things most important for our lives the next 6 months. Their words will be Gods words to us.
This week is going to be great!
